About CLSI

Support That Furthers Our Global Initiatives

See the organizations supporting GHP and helping to realize our vision.

We thank the global organizations that recognize CLSI’s Global Health Partnerships as a critical outreach program for fostering greater patient care quality around the world.

CDC – PEPFAR

The US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the US Government initiative to help save the lives of those suffering from HIV/AIDS around the world. This historic commitment is the largest by any nation to combat a single disease internationally, and PEPFAR investments also help alleviate suffering from other diseases across the global health spectrum. PEPFAR is driven by a shared responsibility among donor and partner nations and others to make smart investments to save lives.

PEPFAR is the cornerstone and largest component of the US President’s Global Health Initiative. GHP has worked in partnership with CDC’s Global Aids Program to support PEPFAR Laboratory Strengthening initiatives. Learn more at www.pepfar.gov.

CDC – Laboratory Systems Development Branch

CDC’s Laboratory Systems Development Branch (LSDB) funds laboratory strengthening activities in clinical and public health laboratories.

GHP has received funding to collaborate on development of quality management systems with LSDB since 2008.

USAID – TB CARE

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) is a government agency that has provided US economic and humanitarian assistance worldwide for more than 40 years.

TB CARE II is a five-year project from the USAID designed to provide global leadership and assist national tuberculosis (TB) programs in high burden countries around the world to accelerate the implementation of programs for TB DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment, Short Course), TB/HIV, and Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant TB (PMDT). Led by University Research Co., LLC (URC), the TB CARE II Project team comprises leading organizations involved in building TB service delivery systems worldwide.

GHP is a partner with URC to develop the quality assurance component of the TB CARE II program. Learn more at www.usaid.gov and http://urc.tbcare.net/.
