Evaluating the Linearity of Quantitative Laboratory Methods (EP06)

(based on CLSI document EP06—Evaluation of the Linearity of Quantitative Measurement Procedures: A Statistical Approach; Approved Guideline)

As a result of an unexpectedly high demand, this free webinar, which was held on January 11, 2012, was filled within two hours of announcement. J. Rex Astles, PhD delivered a detailed walkthrough of EP06 and its approach to measuring nonlinearity. Tim Deen, MT(HEW), MLT(ASCP) followed with a discussion of how he performed linearity studies in his laboratory by using EP06 and CLSI’s StatisPro software.

I think StatisPro is very user friendly. After the introductory hour webinar, you can self-study to learn more specifics about each type of study. I really like the copy and paste function. This function makes it very easy to get my data into StatisPro. You can also copy the main tables and graphs from StatisPro into other Windows-based reports. Other programs make you change the format of the report and that can be really cumbersome.
