Make a Real Difference in Global Laboratory Testing Quality

Provide hands-on training and support that will enable resource-constrained laboratories improve their quality management systems and, in turn, patient health outcomes.

Whether facilitating week-long workshops or participating in our long-term mentoring program, you will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enable these laboratories to make real advances in diagnosis quality of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis—ultimately helping to save lives.

Global Health Partnerships (GHP) invites laboratory professionals to participate in laboratory strengthening activities in a variety of capacities.

Current Opening: Volunteer Laboratory Mentors in Kazakhstan

  • More information and requirements can be found here.
  • Interested applicants should submit curriculum vitae (CVs)/resumes by March 30, 2014.

Short term: 1 to 2 weeks

  • Workshop facilitator
  • Assessor

Mentoring: 4 to 12 weeks

  • Working in the laboratory setting to guide the implementation of quality management systems and laboratory standards
  • Curriculum development

Bi-lingual or multi-lingual laboratorians are especially needed:

  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Vietnamese
  • French
  • Swahili
