How long have you been a member of CLSI?

I joined CLSI as a Full Individual member in May of 2013.

What do you enjoy most about being a member of CLSI?

I really enjoy the discounted pricing for documents, access to regulatory documents, and access to CLSI U.

What is your favorite or most frequently used CLSI document or product?

My most frequently used document is CLSI document EP15User Verification of Precision and Estimation of Bias; Approved Guideline.

Have you ever used any of our educational offerings (eg, workshops, webinars, continuing education quizzes, Laboratory Quality Management System [LQMS] Certificate Program)? If so, what did you like about them?

Yes, I used all of the above-mentioned items. I like them because they are well-written and easy-to-use as reference/training material.

Are there any topics that you would like to see CLSI cover in workshops or webinars in the future?

I would like more information on LDT validation and automation (eg, liquid handlers, automated ELISA platforms) to increase precision from manually performed assays.

What is a unique way that you or your organization has taken advantage of CLSI membership benefits?

I primarily utilize CLSI U, webinars, and I have just discovered the Harmonized Terminology Database…it’s an awesome resource for Clinical Research and US/EU Clinical Studies!

Are you interested in being our next membership spotlight?
