CLSI requests nominations for volunteers to serve as voting members of the Expert Panel on Preexamination Processes from the constituencies listed:

  • Government
  • Industry
  • Professions

Description

This panel’s work will focus on the following areas:

  • Examination ordering
  • Specimen collection
  • Specimen transport
  • Specimen receipt and processing

Term of service

Expert panel members serve a one-year term beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31. Eligible members may be reappointed for up to four consecutive terms.

Expert panel activities schedule

March 18-22, 2018: Annual face-to-face meeting (NOTE: This will be a 2-day meeting scheduled during the March Committees Week in Baltimore, Maryland).

The expert panel meets for one annual face-to-face meeting. Otherwise, the work of all expert panels is conducted by Web conference and/or teleconference.

Meetings are generally scheduled on a quarterly basis or more frequently as needs determine.
