CLSI-IAMM-bioMérieux Global Symposium 2025 (India)

CLSI-IAMM-bioMérieux Global Symposium Series
Working Together to Strengthen Antimicrobial Stewardship and Improve Clinical Outcomes in India

Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) is the recognized leader in the development of international standards for the analysis of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in both human and veterinary medicine, and laboratory standards and clinical breakpoints worldwide. CLSI has led the development of standards that are critical for the detection of resistance and, importantly, for understanding the role AMR plays in the movement of disease between and among species. Thousands of clinicians, laboratory professionals, diagnostics developers, and regulators around the world rely on CLSI standards and breakpoints for providing the necessary diagnostic testing integrity that is central to healthcare and AMR public health efforts.

To further these efforts, CLSI, in collaboration with the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM) and global IVD leader bioMérieux, will host a premier, one-day, in-person Global Symposium event in New Delhi, India on 30 October 2025. Key opinion leaders from both the USA and India will present on a variety of topics including best practices around detecting, preventing, and controlling antibiotic resistance with a focus on implementation and insights from India.

CLSI M100 is the gold standard for antimicrobial susceptibility testing, relied upon by laboratories worldwide to guide life-saving clinical decisions. This must-have resource provides the latest, evidence-based breakpoints and quality control parameters, ensuring that laboratories generate accurate, standardized results that clinicians trust for treating seriously ill patients. Designed for use with CLSI M02 (disk diffusion), CLSI M07 (dilution for aerobic bacteria), and CLSI M11 (dilution for anaerobes), CLSI M100 delivers the most up-to-date tables for drug selection, result interpretation, and quality control (QC).

_____________

Participants at the symposium will receive a complimentary copy of the english language CLSI M100 | Performance Standards for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, 35th Edition. A maximum of 200 participants from the medical community are welcome to join us for this exciting event!
