The appointment was announced by ANSI in its recent release naming volunteer leaders for the coming year.

The appointment was announced by ANSI in its recent release naming volunteer leaders for the coming year.
As CEO of CLSI, Dr. Barb Jones leads one of the world’s most influential standards development organizations in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. CLSI is a longstanding ANSI member, serving as the Secretariat of ISO TC 212 (Medical Laboratories and In Vitro Diagnostic Systems) and as an ANSI-accredited standards development organization.
Reflecting on her appointment, Dr. Jones said:
