CLSI Welcomes Lucy A. Perrone, MSPH, PhD, to Board of Directors

Malvern, PA, USA The Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) is pleased to welcome Lucy A. Perrone, MSPH, PhD, to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Perrone is an internationally recognized expert in laboratory quality management and strengthening global laboratory systems. She currently serves as Chair of the Canadian Microbiology Proficiency Testing Program, Director of the Program Office for Laboratory Quality Management, and holds the Donald B. Rix Professorship in Laboratory Quality at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Dr. Perrone brings extensive experience spanning public health, clinical laboratory practice, workforce development, and international health systems. Her expertise and leadership will support CLSI’s mission to advance laboratory excellence and improve patient care worldwide. She joins an esteemed panel of laboratory leaders serving on the CLSI Board of Directors.
