CLSI C67 Volunteer Application

CLSI C67 | Biochemical Markers for Preeclampsia, 1st Edition

CLSI is seeking subject matter experts to assist with the creation of CLSI C67 | Biochemical Markers for Preeclampsia, 1st Edition.

The preeclampsia document will consolidate current testing recommendations into a global reference for laboratories.

Advances in analytical technology have greatly expanded the scope of biomarker testing over the past decade. With an increasing need for precise and accurate measurements, critical for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis across all trimesters, the document will also address quality monitoring and highlight clinical guidelines. It will cover the clinical utility of testing in the first, second, and third trimesters, and provide guidance for preexamination, examination, and postexamination processes.

This document will not include content which is inconsistent with current practices or guidelines. Genetic testing for preeclampsia will not be addressed.

We are specifically looking for volunteers with:

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with preeclampsia testing

  • Expertise in using preeclampsia testing in the medical laboratory

  • Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation considerations for preeclampsia testing
