Expert Panel on Evaluation Protocols (EP)
CLSI requests nominations for volunteers to serve on its expert panels. Individuals are sought from the professions, government, and industry.
Expert panels are responsible for:
- Identifying consensus document and product development projects
- Creating or soliciting the creation of a completed Project Proposal Form for consolidating or dividing a document
- Reviewing proposals from other sources
- Endorsing project proposals and presenting them to Consensus Council (CC) for authorization as applicable
- Monitoring progress of documents in its technical area
- Reviewing and commenting on consensus documents and products within their area of expertise during the Proposed Draft vote
- Reviewing documents within their area of expertise to recommend reaffirmation, revision consolidation or division, or withdrawal
- Serving as advisors and subject matter experts for development committees in its technical area
Term of Service
Expert panel members and advisors serve a one-year term beginning on 01 January and ending on 31 December. Eligible members and advisors may be reappointed for up to four consecutive terms.
Schedule
Expert panels meet at least quarterly via zoom conference and may meet face-to-face during the March CLSI Committees Week.
