Nominating Committee

CLSI is seeking volunteers to serve as members of its Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee is responsible for:

• Considering qualified candidates who have been recommended for open officer(s) and director(s) positions
• Identifying additional candidates with specific skills and organizational experience that are needed on the board
• Recommending a slate of candidates, including at-large members as applicable, that represents the best match of qualifications and expertise to the Board of Directors for approval
• Ensuring that appropriate balance is maintained on the Board among representatives of government, industry, and the healthcare professions.

Term of Service
Nominating Committee members serve a one-year term beginning on 01 January and ending on 31 December. Eligible members may be reappointed for up to four consecutive terms.

Schedule
The Awards Committee meets two times per year (generally in June and August) via zoom conference.
