A New Look for CLSI.org
After months of thorough research, thought, and hard work from our team and members, CLSI has officially launched its new and refreshed website. With user experience at the forefront, CLSI’s updated platform is designed to help laboratory professionals, clinicians, and our partners more easily find the tools and standards they need.
With our communications team leading a presentation highlighting some of the site’s biggest changes, participants had the opportunity to give valuable feedback in real time, sparking thoughtful discussion and helping us to further continue to refine the user experience to make accessing CLSI standards and tools more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.
The session highlighted exciting changes like improved search, a customized MyCLSI dashboard and user navigation, vital new resources and content updates, and improvements to eCLIPSE and our collaboration platforms. It also allowed for discussion about ongoing work to continue to ensure the site truly works for the laboratorians, volunteers, and stakeholders that we serve every day.
AST Working Groups & Committee Meetings in Action
Working groups engaged in deep and productive sessions, tackling some of the most pressing and technical challenges in the industry. From breakpoint updates to standard interpretations, members and participants dove into cross-collaborative discussions aimed at supporting everyday lab practices, ensuring that reliable, safe, and high-quality patient care remains a priority.
The sessions were forward-thinking, inclusive, and welcomed questions, insights, and expertise from participants across diverse professional and geographic backgrounds. Science met real world application, with every voice helping to move standards forward.
Why Committees Week Matters
Events like Committees Week are more than just meetings, they are where ideas become standards, new breakpoints, and better practice for laboratories everywhere serving the bigger picture: health care providers and their patients. With the public health threat of antimicrobial resistance, coming back to the drawing board to stay one step ahead is vital in upholding that common goal of safe and reliable care.
