CLSI Awards Committee

CLSI requests nominations for volunteers to serve as members of its Awards Committee. 

Serving on a governance committee (an advisory committee to the Board of Directors) can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a CLSI career. CLSI requests nominations for volunteers to serve on the Awards Committee and the Nominating Committee. The purpose of each committee and a general activities schedule are outlined below. 

The Awards Committee:

• Reviews criteria for nominating and selecting award nominees and recommends changes as necessary
• Recommending additions to or deletions of award categories 
• Reviewing eligible nominations submissions 
• Selecting Excellence Award recipients

Term of service

Awards Committee members serve a one-year term beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31. Eligible members may be reappointed for up to four consecutive terms.
Awards Committee activities schedule

The Awards Committee meets twice per year (August and October) via Web conference.
