EP37 Database
This product is a database tool that updates the first edition of the original CLSI EP37 document and converts the guidance into an interactive application. It continues to provide recommended testing concentrations for analytes and endogenous substances that may affect clinical chemistry measurement procedures. This resource is intended to support and fully aligns with the evaluation procedures outlined in the CLSI EP07.
The changes from the previous version include:
For exogenous interferents,
- Unnecessary comments were removed to create a cleaner view of the data.
- Pubchem ID and molecular formulae were added where possible.
- Chemical structures were eliminated.
- Drugs no longer in legal medical use were removed.
- Astemizole
- Cephapirin
- Troglitazone
- Astemizole
- References were added for therapeutic concentrations with an intentional choice to reference Baselt where it made sense to do so to minimize the number of sources needed.
For exogenous interferents,
- Reference interval recommendations were removed.
- References were added for therapeutic concentrations.
